2 Questions about the CnC Extreme That I haven't seen asked. [Archive]

With all of the new pictures (very nice by the way) I see that they have different barrels on them. What barrel will be shipped with the CnC's?

With the new milling for the Battery packs is it possible that those of us who have already preordered a CnC will see these on our orders?

my guess is no barrel.

i think AGD wants it to be your choice, if they include a barrel u have to pay more for it and u might not like it.

On the other hand i think i heard something about specially made xtreme barrels.. there is a pick around here somewhere

yes, there are supposed to be specially made extreme stock barrels, once there are, im buying one right away, im so incredibly happy with the quality of agd barrels...

I believe thoes are made by J&J. on one of the X-mag pics you can see the logo.

HMMM... both cockers and X-mags have stock J&J barrels...Isn't that a sign of the apocalypse???

In some of the pics they have J&J's, and in some I believe they have Dye's, and in some of the older ones ??? It still doesn't mean that's what they'll ship with.

According to the AGDE website, extremes ship with what looks like matching PMI Perfect barrels.

yeah, my Minimag stock barrel always shot better than my DYE Aluminum, AGD makes great barrels... but if they put J&J or PMI on the gun and make me pay for it I don't plan on buying that gun..... ever

i talked to tom(actually, quite a lot) but in this instance i found out that tey will come with a AGD barrel. yes,a two piece AGD custom made barrel...nifty, eh?

O.K. It seems we have one question answered. Tom, can you confirm the existence of an AGD two piece barrel that will ship with the extremes? What about the second question? Any chance of those of us who have already pre-ordered a CnC seeing a milled battery pack on our marker when it arrives?

i believe the length of the ones he had was 12". thats what it looked like anyways....

as for the milling, i believe Tom said that was going to come into effect for the second batch(Q1 2003)

I just got off the phone with AGD and they stated that no barrels have been shipped with the X-Mag nor will be for upcoming orders.

What if I want a tequila fade C&C X-Mag with a freak barrel? Mmmmm tequilla.
