The engraving on my valve has never matched up. I don’t think it affects anything, but it is annoying. Also there is a gap between the valve and the body. Is there any way I can fix this? Is this common, or did I get a crappy MiniMag from I&I?

You should be able to turn the back part of the valve to match up with the front part.

I have the same issue with the valve on both of my mags, it doesn't bother me. I don't think the small gap is a problem.

I can turn it when the valve if off, but the little pin does not let me turn it when it is on the trigger frame.

Its perfectly normal.

You'll never get them to match up perfectly, because the o-ring size can change slightly, etc etc.

Also, the little gap between the valve and the body is completely normal.

The engraving on both my minimag valves lines up. ;) Guess I'm lucky.

Due do inconsistencies in the Reg seat seal and rag body O-ring, the two halves of you valve may or may not match!!! Also check to make sure the Rail bushing is in place!! These items will not effect the performance of your marker at all!!! Hope this helps!!
