A moderatly used Classic Mag- $175 w/AA Barrel?

How fast can the balls feed because of the gases that blows up the feed?

if you have an electronic hopper and don't fire really really fast then classic feed won't be much of a problem.
and that is a preaty good price for a mag

Sounds like a good deal!! You can still have a decent rate of fire if you have a fast enough trigger finger and an electronic hopper!! The blowback could be reduced if you have a long nose bolt!!!

Where can I get the Long Nose Bolt?

forget the long nose.. get a level 10

Does that reduce the blowback? (Level 10)

Level 10 eliminates almost all chopping. it very, very, very, rarly chops. not sure if it reduces blowback though

if blowback means like the kick that the gun gives, then yes, it does reduce it.

Blowback would be the gas that pushes the balls back away from the breech after you fire.
No, level 10 does not reduce/eliminate that at all.
There is no way to reduce blowback. A way to prevent it might be powerfeed or a force feed loading system IE Halo, or Warp Feed.

i get it now.. but it does reduce kickback(slightly), plus youll never chop again.. well rarley anyway.

Any way I can make it feed at about 7-8 bps?

Get a 12V revolution loader or better and then pull the trigger that fast.

Well it reduces it as much as anything else does if not more. As teh bolt is now moving slower at onset of the shot cycle. I do not know if anyone has tried to measure if it actualy has any less blow back as a result of the first stage slower bolt speed or not. Perhaps Tom can wade in on that. But blow back is realy not so much an issue anymore with the introduvtion of level 10 as it allows any effect of a missfed or "bobbled" ball to not get chopped as likely. So makes any blow back negative effect much more managable. So wether it reduces it or not is a moot point.

I have a classic valve and I had a standard body til recently .. for the price thats a GREAT deal .. and you can upgrade parts here and there to make it into a beast :)

I think if it has a standard body (no powerfeed) you should upgrade that first and that will help with your rate of fire .. and make sure your using an electronic hopper like they had mentioned.

With my Powerfeed body, 12 Revolution and 68/3000 tank I can get off about 8 shots a second since I'm using a single trigger .... just take the time to practice firing fast so you can teach yourself to prevent short stroking.

Best of luck man ...

Sincerely,
Dave K

Well, the thing is that I would perfer not to have a powerfeed because I sight over the barrel. But the level 10, will make it inpossable or at least unlikely to chop because the bolt wouldn't do it?? It would go back?? Am I kind of right?

Level 10 virtually eliminates ALL chopping. Yes, the bolt resets itself if it encounters resistance.

I just picked it up! :D  :) I got to pull the trigger, amazing (my last gun was a Pro/Carbine). I didn't get N2, next paycheck. Is it ok to run it on c02 for a week? Just practice shooting, not field play.

For Holiday Gifts-
Level 10
Spacer Kit
Parts/O-Ring Kit

Any other soggestions?

You'll be fine running it on CO2, so long as you have remote and/or expansion. These aren't necessary, but it will prolong the life of your seals. You'll be fine running it on CO2 for practice shooting, and should be ok in a game as well. I am not well-versed in running a 'mag on CO2 however, so others will be more helpful.

Its a siphon with no e-chamber or anything like that. So, 600 air only shots won't hurt it too much?

Tried it, didn't work.

With an anti-siphon tank, it SHOULD work. So long as the hose is positioned correctly when the tank is screwed in.

Wierd Guy, Congrats on your new mag. Just to let you know, if you get a level 10, you will have no use for a power tube spacer kit.

I was just assuming he wrote siphon instead of anti-siphon, I just wasn't thinking you'd actually use a siphon tank. However, Tunaman is right, you must use anti-siphon, with the hose positioned correctly. If you are using a siphon tank, well, you'll have EXTREME problems.

Yep, fired 3 shots and it froze up. I'm just going to have to let it sit there for a week. That sux.

So I don't need the spacer kit, the L10 has fixed the old problem?
