I have a 3-horse Brigs(4-stroke) and I am interested in coverting it to run on methane instead of gasoline. I have several ideas but I would still like some input.
My first idea-
OK, my first plan of action would be to just bypass the carb and run a methane oxygen mix (uncompressed). There would be a perpetual supply of this mixture, dont ask how...
I think there would be a couple pounds of pressure but not definately. Would this work?
#2
For this one, i would have compressed methane and compressed oxygen in bulk tanks and go direct-port, ie drilling a hole in the block, and try it that way. The only thing wrong with that would be that if I mess up it there is no turning back.
Anyway, I would like any input or suggestions on the topic.
Thanks
