Nope. I can confirm that it is 10-32. I bought a "shoot" load of them. ;) BTW, so is the field strip screw on a 'mag.

As is the screw in the front of the gripframe that attaches it to the rail.

a few guns back in the day(REALLY old BE Green Raptors) were made with 10-24, but now everything is in 10-32

you might be thinking of the screws that spyders use.....cause those are 8-24

Not having a spyder I can't say for sure but I'd be willing to bet that those screws are metric like most everything else on a spyder.

yeh, cockres are M5 threads, if i remember correctly....im 95% sure they are
