I got my new gun and went to my local pro shop and left my gun overnight to get the level 10 installed, he aired it up for the first time since i bought it that night and he said air pissed all over the place. The next day i go to get my mag, he told me about it and said the gun is completely trashed. He said i would basicaslly have to buy eveything new ecxept for the tube (WTF!). So i just got all these parts for xmas now i have to return all of them!!! and am left with a screwed mag. Im so pissed off. I e-mailed the seller and he wont even respond, what do i do?

First try to get help from a tech.
Then if you have a star on your valve, I would send it in to AGD for a rebuild or have them look at it..

That blows though, good luck.

tell your pro shop to f off, and you buy an o-ring kit, and we will help you fix it.

yeah man, put a thread in the tech forum and we'll help you out. most pro-shops are just trying to make money. let us try to help before you buy anything too expensive, and agd should help you as well. go to www.airgun.com and look for their phone number for the tech department and give them a call and see whats up.

the gun has no stars on the valve, the guy i bought it off of changed the valve so there is no stars. Umm what the hell could be wrong with it, the pro shop guy said i need a new valve and a rebuild kit. Umm i have no clue what to do. Should i send it to AGD or try to fix it myself? or should i try to get a refund?

Send it in to AGD for a rebuild.. I think it costs somewhere aroud $70 but you know, it will get your gun working..
What, does it have an aftermarket valve on it? If so that might be the problem and your better off just buying a whole new used valve..

etnie002

yeah it has some b-s valve, how much will a new valve cost or used, i bought the gun that was suppose to work fine, i should make the seller buy the new parts.

Used I think you could buy for 75-100 bucks but I'm not sure..
You might as well do the trade in for the retro :p
New, I think they cost the same as retros..

contact him first and try to work it out before you pay for anything

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the seller(even if you can contact him and everything else) is under absolutely no legal obligation to buy/repair parts for the marker you purchased. It would've been a better idea if you had gassed up the gun before you bought it, that way you would've known if there were any issues with the internals.

It's like selling a car...I could sell you a Corvette REAL cheap, but if you just go ahead and give me the money with out having it inspected by a mechanic, or even drive the thing. Once it breaks down in 20 miles, its not my problem.

Admitted it would be the gentleman's thing to do to replace the parts or cough up the money to do so, but like you said, he's repairing his car and probably wont care at all that he sold you a broken gun.

The only thing that COULD hold him responsible for the repairs would be a singed contract by both you and him, with a witnesses signature saying that if anything goes wrong with the gun in a said amount of time, the seller is responsible. Otherwise, and I hate to say it, your up crap creek with out a paddle...

yeah, i totally understand what you're saying, im hoping its something little and the pro shop guy had no clue what hes talking about (hopefully), only reason i didnt try it before i bought it was he lives in VA and im in NJ, but i contacted him and were gonna see what happens after i replace o-rings and such, i'm just waiting until tomorrow so I can get my tank from my dads house.
