i have a minimag w/ "rated 3000 psi" engraved on th side... i barely noticed this yesterday, after i bought a 4500 preset nitro tank... just started converting from co2 ... is my mag just an old mag or are all minimags rated at 3000 psi

all HPA tanks put out a max of like 800-850 if they are preset, adjustables put out more but not the full 3000... its safe to use your 4.5k tank if thats what you are wonderings, and my mag is also rated for 3k and its new.

i dont know what i was thinking ... i have always known that but when i saw that 3000 rating for the first time after i bought the 4500 psi i started to panic that i wasted $215 for nothing ... started thinking compatability of valve to tank instead of knowing the output pressure of tank ... thanks to hoppysmag for putting my feet in cement and tossing me in the river to cool me down and think straight

I wonder if a RTpro would still function with say, 2,500 Psi. I wonder if you would notice a big change in trigger bounce compared to 1000psi?
This is all asuming the gun doesn't start venting out the back.

I'f i'm not mistaken, Slushee on the forum runs his ReTro Mag at 1k Input pressure. Not 100% certain on this of course. :)
