The creamy or milky look in the current anno. jobs are very cool. The first time I ever saw it was on an Angel. I was wondering how it's achieved and who discovered the process? Is it a new procedure?

i think you are refering to the "dust" finish.. the bodies are bead blasted to give it a slight texture and are not polished before anodizing. this gives it the dullish look .

Oh man. I just barely got through my first day on my new lactose free diet and some one had to use the word milk on the boards.

I love milk but my tummy don't. Now I gotta drink the Soy stuff. The 8th Continent choc stuff ain't to bad but the vanilla/plain stuff tastes like chalkdust in water.

Bleech!

Just a little addition. The bodies are actually polished before being bead blasted and then annodised. This also allows some of the fancy anno you can see on angels where part of the polished body was masked off before bead blasting so that shiney and 'dust' areas can both be seen after anno. http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

Ever heard of the milk called Lactaid, it is lactos free milk ( I hope I spelled that right). Anyway I use the stuff because can't have milk either. Check it out Hasty8, I tastes good too.

Hasty8; you should try the 'SoBe Essentials' theyre soy based drinks, all natural and stuff and tase very good, they also have other healthy berry drinks and such, just avoid the 'Lizard Line' and the 'Love Bus Brew' both contain milk. Thought you might like them, if you don't already know about them that is. http://www.automags.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
