hey i finally got off my soft, lazy butt and bought a benchmark for my mag. its a little differnt because the benchmark i bought was used and had a trigger job to it. what i really need help with is the little knobs that hold the sear. the ones on my mag are threaded, while the ones on my stock frame werent. so what i need to know is how the hell i get something in there to hold my sear in place. also, never used a benchmark on a mag before, just wondering if its bad ju-ju . thanks

According to TK, Benchmark was the company that actually made the Z-Grip. I have seen more Benchmark grip on mags that other grips. As far as your question about the sear, i can't help you there. Might I suggest going to the Tech Support forum?

Sear? Threads? The sear assembly is held in place with a wide hinge pin set into a channel in the body rail. Are you sure it's the sear?

BTW: you'll find this thread in Tech Forum now http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif
