OK, I've talked about this before, and I finally got a hold of the pictures. Check em out here (http://www.natural-born-killers.f2s.com/SCBAboom.html)

OK they aren't paintball tanks, they are firemens SCBA's, but the designs are very similar, and the reason they can be dangerous is the same for both, they are fiber wrapped.

The only information I could get about why this tank blew up is that it was exposed to a cleaning material, the guy I talked to said he thinks it was armoral, and that it really weakens the fiber wrap.

Anywayss I'm just trying to let you guys know, don't expose your tanks to anything but air, paint, and water, never know what could make it blow.

Mainly Delta force Land warrior and some Counter Strike. It's actually my brothers site, I just needed to use it to post those pics.

The tanks are perfectly safe, I'm just posting this as a warning to keep your tank away from all chemicals.

LOL.

From what my dad told me, those tanks were in transit from being filled, when a bottle of Armoral tipped over and spilled onto the tank, well about 12 hours later... well a picture is worth a thousand words.

I wouldn't get to scared of the tanks though, my dad told me that was the only reported case of one of those tanks blowing up, but like I keep saying, just don't expose em to anything but water (and paint, sometimes those tanks hits are unavoidable), even something that seems harmless, like hand soap, could cause the tank to weaken.
