A Cocker with an E-Blade will be as fast, if not faster than a Rat. It will also have less kick, better balance, and it wont be as tall as an Impulse. It also comes with an ACE now, so the Rat doesn't really have anything over it. The Rat may have a little better consistancy, because a stock Cocker's reg is only so so. You could always buy a Sidewinder or a Gladiator later on though.

id have to say shocktech cocker.... olny because your getting your best pneumatics (second olny to palmers) ram and all that stuff... Then you can grab the e-blade later or a race frame

I'm saying Rat because I've shot one and the feel and look very nice. I really like the milling patern, it's my favorite out of all the custom imps. But go with the Rat they are very nice. Although I have never shot an electro cocker so my opinion might be a little bit "uneducated."

I say go for the Rat. I was trying to decide between a freeflow and my Rat but I went Rat since im not a big fan of cockers. I put an I-frame on it and Oh my god can it rip! I don't see how a cocker could have much less kick then a Rat. Mine has an LPR and has no noticable kick IMO. They also come with the best barrel on the market and a lifetime warrenty through EPBO. What more could you ask for? But in the end it's your decision, go with what suits your needs.

Have you ever shot a Cocker? Due to the fact that it's a heavier gun (most Cockers atleast), cycles slower, and cycles at a lower pressure, a Cocker will have less kick. I've shot a Toxic Imp before, it did have low kick, but my BM Cocker has noticeably less.

Yes I have shot cockers. I've shot a freeflow before and I didn't notice any difference in kick from that and the Rat. Just my opinion.

I don't have a rat or anything, but I do have an Impulse. I also had a cocker. I like the Impy far and away better than the cocker. It was a pretty trick cocker and the Impy is fairly stock but I love it. Go with the Impy you can't go wrong. Check out www.Impulseownersgroup.com for more on the Impy. Or www.Air-powered.com for cocker stuff. Both great sites.
