What's your velocity? Shooting 280's with it that far out?

not exactly sure, dont have a crono, havent been to the field, it only works with it like that, with the shorter spring it sticks like crazy

You may be just fine. It may be cycling but shooting really low. Take it to the field and chrono it when you get a chance. You should'nt get bolt stick with the shorter spring, though. Are you using the loosest carrier without a barrel leak?

so you think it might be normal for the velocity adjuster to be in that far

You do have to crank the velocity down a good bit to get the gun to chrono to 280-300 with level 10. It's normal. If it way too far or you bottom it out before getting 280-300fps you may need a new spring pack. Hard to say without a chrono.
