I hooked up a Warp to the Carbine not too long ago to see how it would perform. I ended up playing the entire day with Yipe and a bunch of other people from the place he works and the gun performed near perfect. Only thing I noticed was a few times two balls would come out in one cycle. The Warp is probably putting enough force to get two balls in the chamber at times, so I'll try setting the dwell shorter and a new ball detent. But in terms of general peformance, the gun never broke or chopped paint. I put this on the Carbine to show people that the Warp isn't all about speed. You can have an inexpensive semi and you'll still see improvements using a Warp, because of the smaller profile, reliable feeding and the ability to fire the gun in any position. Only thing I had to modify to put the Warp on the Carbine, was dremeling off the clamp part of the 90 degree adapter so I could slip it in the feed elbow on the gun. Other than that, it all bolts right on. I also used my 3k Flatline system on the Carbine, since I have the 4.5k Flatline on the MiniMag now.

Here's the Carbine:

Several of our players use 68carbine/pro-lite/pro-carbines and they are great guns. I love those guns!

That is just great! I'll try mounting my warp on a stingray and an Alleycat, now that would be great.

The Ballistic Sports who makes the elctro conversion for the M98 say they can get 14bps with the warpfeed on full auto...

One of my teammates put a WARP and a nitro tank on a stingray to play with it in a tourney. not that he dosn't have an other gun (he owns a e-Mag and a classic auto mag too) but it was a lot of fun to see that. some other player first laught about it but than where really quiet after they got bunckered by him. we had a lot of fun http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

hey that gives me a great idea! Put a peice of metal block infront of the sear so that it's alwasy engated with the trigger therefor making it full auto, then use the Warp Feed on it! i wanna see that. A while back my friend made his M98 full auto but choped every ball after the first 3 shots, but the Warp Feed wasn't invented back then http://www.automags.org/ubb/wink.gif .

Hmm, i did that. It shoot about 4 times then just stopped feeding. The gun cycled but no balls fell in.

I saw one on an M98 on ebay a month or so ago. I thought that was neat, but just not my style.

I love seeing the Warp on non AGD guns. I don't think I've ever seen a Carbine that shiny though. :-)

speedballbanks- Here's the pic of my MiniMag. It has the 3k Flatline on it in this pic, but I'll get some pics of it with the 4.5k Flatline. The only difference in the 4.5k Flatline is that it's blue and the front portion of the reg. is milled.

TheTramp- That's the way it came when I got it. I just keep it nice and clean. http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif It's an original Carbine, not a Pro-Carbine. Serial number is right around 2000.
