What else could I do to my MiniMag to make it just absolutly rule. Or in other words, what do you think I should do with it. Oh, and I would like to hear everyones gun's name. If haven't named your gun, then you don't really love it. ;) Mines the De-Virginizer :D

Definately an I-frame... LX if you don't have it...

Retro isn't amust, but it's a big help.

Just noticed something. With the AIR reg, the ANS and the nitro tank, you're tripple regulated. NOT a good thing. Can starve the gun. Might want to X out the ANS in lieu of some of the other upgrades (LX, Retro, I-Frame)

get some prettier SS fittings. Sorry, but those brass ones are uglaaay!

also, use SS for EVERYTHING, and put shrink-wrap on 'em. That'll look like mega-monster-macroline :)

I do name my guns, now that you mention it. I have three. My RTpro is Sid Vicious, My red 2002 Vert Cocker is William Wallace, because it absolutely hammers, and my Emag is LORD VADER because he is the Baddest MO-FO around. Stay tuned for more updated pics of the Emag. Its undergoing a facelift.

I agree with everyone, 1)Intelli 2)lvl10 3)hpa 4)retro(not neccessary but worth it)

I had a gen-x on my mag, and got rid of it due to starvation probs. Now that it's gone, it humms.

So I should yake off my ANS reg? WIll my Mag shoot just as consistant with it off? Oh and hawpunch, I called it the

De-Virginizer because it breaks in those newbie players with their Spyders

I guess I could call it something else.... *sniff*

The AIR already has a built in regulator, you dont need the ANS ... you can run your 68/3000 (assuming its preregulated) directly to your mag valve if you'd like. If you look at the picture of my mag (link) in my siggy thats how I have it done ... valve to drop forward, and my tank screws into my drop forward ... works PERFECT

I recommend the same things ...
1) Intelliframe to your Revvy
2) Level10 kit
3) ReTro valve

Although the new XValve is coming out, so you could either wait a few weeks and pick up the XValve through AGD which is the new aluminum body ReTro valve w/ the Level 10 kit already installed into it .... or you can find a ReTro valve im sure in the classifieds.

Sincerely,
Dave

Yes. You run the risk of starving the AIR valve because of the recharge rates of the 2 valves before it. (Plus you can sell it and use the $ for one of the other upgrades.)

Double regulation is about as consistent as it will get.

What kind of Nitro tank are you running right now?

Dayspring

It HAS to be pre-regulated. Otherwise, it would run 3000psi into the gun. Badness ensues. :D

I'm running on a 68ci fiber wrapped Crossfire tank (screwin and preset)

Just run the hose from your AIR valve to the drop ... at least thats what I'd recommend.. The AIR valve will regulate it just fine.

if you like the way the gen x looks and its feel you can just open it up to about 750 psi...you shouldent have a starvation problem then AS LONG AS THE GEN X CAN KEEP UP WITH THE AIR VALVE....but yeah 750-800 is a good range not to starve. Its also about the range your preset tank is gonna be puttin air out at, so its not needed. But if you want it just open her up a bit...let the mag BREATH :o <--(deep breath) :D

edit for spelling

I totally agree. the ANS reg it not needed and probebly actually hurts performance.

go with the level 10.

You have a lot of options as far as where you want to go is concerned, but here's what I think...

1. Drop the ANS regulator for a gas-through grip of some kind, since the automag already has a built in regulator, the ANS is only restricting airflow.

2. Intelliframes are very nice, very short & crisp trigger pull. Double-trigger gives you more leverage for an easier pull, not to mention you can intellifeed your loader for only a couple bucks with it.

3. Level 10 is pretty cool, it gets rid of any paint-breaking problems you may have, and has the added benefit of lower kick/recoil.

There are some other things you can do, ReTro valves are nice, but pricey at $200. Cosmetically, you can do a lot of things as well. Carved body rails are avalible, chrome/colored fittings, drops and air adapters.
