I have a Slug body sitting in front of me
right now, and a Bridgeport mill in the
basement ready to go. I've been a machinist
for close to 20 yrs,but I have several ?
before I start on this project.

1- What is the exact thread for an Angel
feed neck, I'm thinking of making an
oversize No-Rise so I can mill it as
part of the finished body.

2- Barring that does anyone know where
I can get a No-Rise neck in the white.

3- I intend to use a cocker ball detent,
how much meat do I need to leave in the
side wall to get the proper depth on the
detent.

4- What is the easiest way to get the
barrel detent aot of my rail w/out
messin' it up.

So basically on a sluggo body nothing is threaded yet when it comes from AGD?

No Cocker barrel threads yet?
No angel Feedneck threads?
And The one i already knew, No ball detent threads.

I was going to Purchase a body to mill, but I dont have time to fuss with all the threading if it needs to be done.

Festus could you verify this for me?

all it's missing in the detent thread.

He's asking for feed thread specs so he can do something custom and replace AGD's threads...

No I don't want to replace AGD's thread's
But if I turn my own feed neck I need to
know what the thread size and pitch is.
And yes everything is threaded except
the ball detent hole.
All in all one sexy piece of aluminum.

AH, I must have read it wrong. TAG must know the answer. :)

It's already threaded for all but
the ball detent.
What I need to know is what size
and pitch thread the feed neck is,
so I can turn and thread an oversize
neck.

I know the threads are metric, but i cannot remebet the exact specs, somehow 20.5mm keeps coming to mind though

Download the Slug CAD file.

The CAD file gives the feed tube threads as [M21x.75 6H]

Hope that helps.
