Who owns/uses gloves here? I heard they slow down your bps, because of the cushioning?

then get no finger gloves... but i doubt it even effects anything, forget about having an effect on it you know, it might slow you down a lil' but not noticible if they slow you down at all, which i doubt they do... i use Ecko skater gloves.

I use these 10 dollar half finger ones I got a sports Authority 5 years ago. And still to this day they stain my hands black!!

I used to use workout finderless gloves and these black leather fingerless gloves I have years ago.

No I like the JT full finger gloves. They fit will, the suede palm keeps a steady grip, they are thin enough to feel the trigger well and the give good protection from hand hits.

I wear full finger gloves (JT pro series 2002), and have no time ripping 10+bps on my mag. The JT's are getting a bit worn though from heavy useage (I used them the other day when I was shoveling snow, heh), I think the 2003 DYE ones don't look too bad. If you haven't tried playing with gloves, ask to borrow someone's for a game. You really won't notice too much of a difference, except your hands will be much, much more comfortable :D

I am no wuss… but there is a huge difference between getting hit in the hand with gloves on, and without gloves…. I will take the gloved hit thank you. ;) I wear fingerless gloves.

I got a pair of full fingured raven gloves that are just amazing. The padded palm gives a great grip and the fingers are just thin enough to get a good feel on the trigger.I can't tell a difference between shooting without gloves or with them exept when you get shot in the hand from a few feet away you don't bleed when you got gloves on.

I personally don't like wearing gloves when I play. They don't seem neccessary.

I picked up a pair of Mechanix gloves, and cut the first 2 fingers. I did this mainly cuz they only came in large, but they were the color I was looking for. So far, they work great. Havent taken a hit in the hand yet, but, they are padded to keep your hand from getting smacked while working on cars. They have a gel back, we'll see how long that lasts.

i had the same gloves as pbguy888 for about a year, and i would keep getting hit on the tips of my fingers. last game of the day i got hit 4 times on my fingers in the one game so i decided to buy some JT full fingered gloves. haven't gotten hit on my hand once, since.

as much when you wear em'

For the longest time I never wore em, then a month ago I was playing and got my hand layered from about 2ft away between the fingers resulting in the below picture (not to mention i had cuts all up my right arm from hand to shoulder and one on my neck) ... 1/2 finger gloves are a godsend now ...lol

This one scarred, thats the only reason I wear em ... welts/cuts are no biggie, just battle wounds to show off ... but I have a paintball shaped scare between my fingers now ... so might as well protect em.

Sincerely,
Dave K

Guy two posts up... Just wait till you are not paying attention and have a finger pointed fowards and you get shot in the tip of it... Holy crap that hurts like a mug...

I just started a few months ago, but not for protection. I figure I can take anything a paintball can dish out(so far...). Anyway I got mine for the grip; the sweat and paint really made it slipery. Gloves solved that, plus they are really comfortable- 2001 or 2000 JT Pre's. Got them really cheap (but they only had purple...)

DYE 3D Core Gloves...

they fit me really well.... and, it did slow my BPS down a bit, so I cut out my two trigger fingers on the right side.... ha... $30 pair of gloves just to end up cutting them... =]

they are padded too... so you won't hurt has bad if you get nailed....

I got my gloves for warmth. It was chilly out one day so I went to the pro shop and got some cheep Piranha gloves. They fit nice, feel comfy, give me a better grip if I get hit with paint, and cushion the blow from a hand shot. No slowdown in BPS either. And, they're pretty warm when it's below 50 or below.

I like the new Evil gloves, they look pretty sweet. I might end up getting those later.

Yeah,
I was looking at the new Evil gloves, chop off the 2 trigger fingers on the right hand and they'd be great .... they're even designed so you can do that on the trigger fingers if you look at the design.

**debating on how to protect his poor scarred fingers**

Sincerely,
Dave

i use redz dimension gloves. there ok. to me, gloves are gloves. i used to own some jt's, and those were alot better in terms of warmth. the redz are kinda thin, so i have better feel in them.
