I don't think so. Some other companies have made good internet presense but none have taken the time an effort as AGD to actually be online.

Sure you can email with Fraser of WDP and maybe trade posts on some pb forums with Ethan of ProPaintball or Bourke of MacDev, but I am pretty sure the incarnation of AO is unique. MacDev doesn have a small (relatively unknown) forum but purely for tech support.

BTW you can see many or the early AO Members that came from the old by the registered date. Oct 2000 I think there are many because we had faith in AGD not ruining the community.

I believe AO was privately owned until August-September of 2000. AGD bought the domain and member list. It was offline for a month or two (as I remember) until October.

I think they bought it in like nov. of 2000. I came here in march 2001 and people were still kind of talking about how glad they were that agd bought AO. Don't go by my memory though cause it's pretty much shot, but i'm pretty sure that i'm right. Any way, i'm sure it's on airgun.com or something. Just browse around and you'll find it.

EDIT:Or you can just look at the thread above this one and see the link where it says It was purchased NOV.3. Yeay baby :cool: , I was right. Looks like my memory was right after all.

:D Always trust first person accounts :) The Nov 3 press release actually speaks of a recent acquisition.

It shows that JJ was registered on Oct 15. AGD the next day.

I would think that means AGD had some interest in AO then. ;)

ahh member #16. That was in the early morning before I went to school, that I checked if it was up and it was. Not too many of the people that registered before me still post anymore, with the exception of jj, webby, and tom. I think that paintball city is co owned by Adrenaline, but I am not 100% possitive, and I am too lazy to check.
