RT for $230! I doubt it. Maybe in the "Go retro" but that ain't all it's cracked up to be. More like $279...

Plus shipping your old valve in...plus $25 S&H added to that $199...You get to $230 real quick. And your old valve is worth at least $90... so why would you do this? Do the math.

Paintballgear.com had a "go retro" program, where if you sent in your old valve they would send you the retro for 200 bucks. There is a link on this board to it somewhere, but when i looked at paintballgear.com it was gone. Im still looking.
found it again....here...

Go Retro Program
US $ 199.99

Go Retro Program
A new Retro Valve will improve your gun performance with better air consistency, more consistent rate of fire, better firing rhythm, and better air consumption. Trade in your old standard automag valve for a Retro Valve Upgrade. You will need to return your old valve for the upgrade before we will send the Retro Valve. Your old valve + $ 225 = a new Retro Valve - We are one of the only authorized retailers for this upgrade in the US.

Choose available options -then Add to Order.

Thats the part you need to read real carefully. Plus the shipping of your old valve to them for say $5 = $230 doesn't it? I can buy that Retro Kit outright for $279 and sell my old valve for $90 to $125!

hey , i was just throwing out the link. I really don't think its that great of a deal, but if you didnt want to mess with selling your valve, then it may be worth the moolah.
my a.i.r. valve works just fine. So another 200 bucks is a lot of money for an upgrade for me.

Yep!! I sure understand that alright! $200 bucks is very well spent on this one though. Best $200 you will ever spend on a Mag upgrade. And if you work it right you can end up with like only $150 to 160 doing it.

bought my new retro valve for $250.00. This did not include the valve exchange.
it is not a direct price of 230.00 but close enough for me.
