I have one quick question about shipping tanks. I put my 68/3000 screw-on steeley on an open asa until all of the air bleeded out of it and let it sit for a while. Can I just send it priority mail now or is there something else I need to do to it. I don't want to send the asa with it to keep it open but don't want the tank to get overpressurized. Let me know what you usually do. Thanks.

I think someone mentioned you might wanna remove the fill pin so its guarenteed completely empty and it should be fine to ship ... Although last time I checked cargo bays were pretty pressurized, so if its just a TINY bit it shouldnt blow up, but just to be safe.

Leave the valve open. I have shipped several tanks...the valve has to be open in case of depressurization.

In order to ship safely the valve
has to be open so the tank does'nt
exceed atmospheric pressure.
