My friend picked up a used old school RT and it is too "sweetspotyt" it seems to always shoot full auto unless you hold the trigger all the way back.

I checked over the gun and everything seemed to be all AGD stock parts. I measured the on/off pin length rather crudely but it seemed ok (.750 right?). I checked the sear it seemed almost brand new. I was also using a crossfire, 850psi screw in.

Any suggestions?

Try turning down the input pressure!! Use an adjustabe tank, or as much as I despise them, an inline reg!!!

I know someone else at the field that uses the same tank on his old style RT and his trigger isn't THIS reactive

Anyone, I've tried everything I just can't get it too fire normally, any suggestions before I just buy a new sear assembly and on off pin?

you do not need to use an adjustable tank OR lower your input pressure.

since your on/off pin is the right length, check your trigger rod length (1.945")

trigger rod length. Check sear surface where it catches the bolt, not rounded.
Check edge of bolt as well for roundness, if the bolt lip is chewed up it can lead to coditions as decribed.

the sear looks new on it, and the bolt has no apparent wear on it. i guess it must be the trigger rod, wear do you measure from??
