Locktite #242 is the kind you're looking for.

And shepherds we shall be
For thee My Lord for thee
Power hath descended forth from thy hand
That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command
So we shall flow a river forth to thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be
In nomine patre, at file, spiritus sancte.

is it ok to use teflon on rts?

If used right, its fine...but Locktite is safer.

If you do decide to use teflon tape, remember not to cover all the threads in it, as some may get cut off and blown into your valve...that can cause problems. http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

What are you using this loctite for?
Red loctite is a permenent thread locker. You can only get it off with heat, alot of force might work to, but could damage the threads.
Blue Loctite is a medium strenth thread locker.
If you are using this on your gun, for air hoses, you want loctite 545 which is a sealer. It is made for holding back high pressures.

Oh yeah, didn't even think to warn him (guess I'm used to using 242 on my Shocker). You may blow a line if you use blue...so there. http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif
