I just got mine today , liked it alot ...but no cards .

I didn't get to attend so a couple of questions how many people were on each team ? Is it just me or did the cloak thing seem somewhat cheap ?

There were about 300 on each team? If my memory is correct, please correct me if I'm wrong. And dureing the cloak scene, if you go frame by frame you can see me peeking around the corner of the tent as they drive up to it!!! Myself and a bunch of AOers were there AT that tent while he drove up to it!!! But they magically edited us out. They screamed at us "Don't shoot!! We are cloaked!!" when they drove up. hahaha

I believe the cards were only for the first 100 or so who bought it....

I think there were about 300 borg, and 450 on Klingon Team and 450 on Star trek team...

I just wish they had counted eliminations :D :D :D

But then even I lost count ;)

hey all sorry about the cards

we had a delay in printing and didn't want to hold up the video delivery (so the videos went out on time but the cards didn't)

the cards will go out in the mail in the next 3 days.

hang tight

thanks for being a little patient

I can tell you the cards are SLICK. Super glossy, crisp looking.

So since a few of you have the DVDs now... have you watched it?

What do you think?

Maybe this can be the official REVIEW the movie thread?

I thought it was edited very well, you guys did a great job of makeing it flow very nicely. The audio on mine made a white noise screech every now and then, I don't know if it's my DVD player or the DVD itself.

But overall I thought it showed the action well, some of it was downright hilarious. Especially the soundclips of Madcow. It was a real eye opener to see just how the Federation scored so many points on us. It made sense after seeing the movie.

I give it a big thumbs up!

I thought the dvd was ok, my problems were to much time was spent on shatner talking, not enough time spent on paintball battles, and some scenes were shown a couple times.

That being said I did like the way everything was covered, it did feel more like they were really trying to win a war then play a game.

I found the image but haven't found the DVD Easter eggs yet.
The DVD conversion came out really well. All of the sunny open scenes are really sharp. Best of all I got 2 separate scenes by myself. In the first I die spectacularly when the Big Head explains the rules.

I also like the CLE card Leopardhead.

Ray's head just doesn't look "right". You should try blurring and decreasing the brightness. Same with Genie.

OK, I'm confused about the whole mirror-image parallel universe thing, because they don't mention it in the DVD. However, on the back of the DVD case, that's not Shattner, it's his mirror twin from a parallel universe. Look - he's holding the E-Mag in his left hand, the E-Mag air line is on it's left side (in our universe they are on the right) and the name "SHATNER" is backwards on the battery!

I found the hidden plot-line!

See you on the field :-)

After being there then seeing the DVD you can definitely tell how the event was stagged to make it more viewer friendly rather than an actual scenario game. I was not very happy with the way things where ran. I would rant some more, but I'll leave it at that for now.

PS: Everyone say hi to Tom, he's buddies with tater, syn, fred, data and me. Nice to see you posting again. Now just get rob on here too.

I would have rather seen more paintball battles also. However, I watch videos of tournaments. ;) I think it was VERY apparent that a professional crew filmed and compiled the DVD. It really showed. :D
