Has anyone heard anything about the Empire Reloader? The site: http://www.empirepaintball.com/html/reloader.asp and the ads seem a little vague... Is the "sound activation" some kind of gimick, or is it an actual benefit? Would the "RE:Load custom revolution loader upgrade kit" be worth adding to my 12v pre-xboard revvy? Thanks.

I have 2 friends that swear by them. The sound of your gun firing triggers the loader giving you a form of intellifeed. I personally have not used one because my x-board revvy is working just fine. If it aint broke...

I have one but I use a evo 2 soft paddle. I use it on both my Imp and j2 and it works great.

I have two of the upgrade kits.

Best agitating system I have used. It does indeed work like a wireless intellifeed.

A big thumbs up for it from me :D

I think its kinda cool if you dont have an Intelliframe ... but I have my Intelli hooked into my Xboard Revvy so its sorta pointless to have that "sound activation" cause everytime I hit the trigger it does the same thing ...

Manike pointed me the way of the reload kit and it's been great. Reliable, feeds fast, all you could ever want.

They have these at the P&L pro-shop in Avon. It's supposed to be comparable to the x-board and possibly a little better.

I HAVE ONE! I got a smoke reloader, they are awsome. I love it. Its faster then my old x board revvy and it keeps up with my shots better. It also has a very nice paddle and is extremly consistent. I HIGHLY recommend!

Just wondering do these sound activated things work with very quiet guns such as some cockers, shockers, matrix, ect...?

Also do they turn when you make any kind of loud sound like people yelling at it?

They seem to work great on quiet guns. A buddy tried it out on his shocker and it was fine. It seems to take a sharp noise to make it spin, the gun firing, the hopper lid snapping shut, etc.

Hmmm, but does it actually force balls down the neck like a Halo?

A friend of mine bought one recently. It does not force feed like the HALO.

Ah, so all it is really is just a Revolution with a new paddle system that sorts quicker then?

Not at all. Since it spins with every shot there is always a ball waitng to fire as opposed to revies that wait to spin until it senses a ball gap in the neck of the loader. If you're firing fast the loader will never catch up resulting in misfeeds and, before level 10, chopped balls. It also spins a little slower than the revy so it does'nt tend to fling balls away from the feed neck when the paint in your hopper gets low.

sounds good to me... but its cheaper(and more reliable) to just intelifeed my revvy and my warp.....

IMO, i think it feeds faster then the Richochet. It does work on quite guns, i tried it on a cocker, no problem at all.

The only issue I'm having with mine is on a warp feed. It's tough to prime it without having to just dryfire a lot.

So would you take it over an evolution2?

Thanks for all the replys. I think I'll try the upgrade kit before I get a Richochet.
