Well, I have decided to move into the 4500 realm, and was offered a tank a couple days ago A newer P.E. 88/4500 for a really good price... The team he plays on is sponsered by my home field and he got a good price on them, hence why he is selling for a good price.

I was wondering, the pure energys claim pressures from 800 to 900, this is good pressure for mags, but is the recharge decent? I am not talking about keeping up with 30 balls per second, but maybe 11 - 13bps bursts everyonce in a while with about a pretty constant 9 - 10bps shooting. I am very curious to know, because I have heard some bad claims, and alot of good ones as well.

I had an 88/45 on my RetroMinimag. It worked great. One of the best tanks I have used. :( I traded it:( it puts out about 850 PSI. It doesn't make it too reactive, but maybe not reactive enough for some. Still a great preset.

i have a pe tank, and i have had no problems at all, perfectly fine recharge and everything.

it is all preferance for the 800-900 output pressure, some people like it high, for more a more reactive trigger(on RT valve, im guessing you have it if you can shoot 13bps), or less pressure for less reactive trigger bounce.

my 88/4500 pe works good. i like it fine. but im looking into getting either a maxflo, or a hyperflow. just so i can adjust it alittle bit. but if you can pick up a pe 88/4500 for cheap, then its worth it. stubby tanks rule! :)
