with a program like photoshop or paint shop pro, but I am pretty sure you can do it in paint

PhotoShop and Paint shop do a great job, but on the fly, MS Paint will suffice. your Digi Cam should have come with some editing software

It's my brother's camera and he has
the new Dell, So I let him do it and load
it to 3 1/2 floppy so I can use it on my
dinosaur

on my PC Win 98, Open MS Paint. File-Open-Ope the image, Image-Attributes-change height and width in terms of pixels, File-Save. Close. the image is now smaller(or larger)

when i do that in my paint, it just cuts off from the image instead of making the whole image smaller.

For making thumbs and significanly reducing the size of huge pictures for the internet.

Easyist wat is in paint open your image then up at the top Click image, then Strech/Skew and then set the % like if you want it half as big change the 100s to 50s
