i like it but it looks purpleish to me. i think a darker blue would be tight

I think it looks kinda cool. I think you should make them in multi colors tho. Say red, blue, green, and clear that way thed match revolution hoppers better with the semi-see through look of them. Kinda cool tho!

Not bad of a color. Definately on the purple side. Any way I could special order a green one?

Ni cD
08-31-2001, 11:44 PM
I agree - a little purple (or does the pic just make it look that way?).

08-31-2001, 11:45 PM
I like it, but it seems to be lacking something I can't quite put my finger on... the color seems a bit to opaque to me I guess, it would look kind of neat if it was like the Smoke warpfeed, but blue.

I dunno, I'm just nit picking, and it's late.

I like the color, a good match for some aftermarket parts i would guess.

Not to bad, but I also would vote for a slightly darker blue coloration.

FINALY we get color in our life. Yes it looks purple to me. And how about those other colors? In design? What else you guys cookin up? A Warp feed with a built in hopper??

emaggot4life
09-01-2001, 12:24 AM
Hey Tom I have a kinda OT question. How much (about) did it cost AGD to make that one prototype? And what happens to them once you deside to use/not use something?? (Are there proto type mag's laying in a warehouse... Must get blueprints made)

AGD
09-01-2001, 12:27 AM
Guys,

It's not really about the particular color it's about the "ICE" look. We can make them in any color. How do you like the dull look?

AGD

Ground_zer0
09-01-2001, 12:31 AM
In that case, the frosty more IZE look is really nice. I would definately take it over a normal warp feed if i get one. Also other suggestion is half IZE half clear... some people like seeing the internals of stuff. Just my crackpot ideas.

OOOHHHHH.

then yeah the I love it.

In the picture is that a cut out where you can see the rubber plates? or is it clear?

Chaos
09-01-2001, 02:27 AM
Personally I dont go for the frosted look. I do like how its clear where the paddles contact the paint so you can see if you have paint in your warp easily, but I'm just not liking the color. I like the clearish colors, especially since then they can match other things, like elbows (not that you would use one with a warp, but they're all the clear plastic look) and hoppers.

Also, I'd like to buy a new shell for my warp, in a different color, can I do that?

I like it! Have you guys considered working with the HALO people to put together a matching color scheme? I would think that with the praise it's been garnering you guys should work together to produce a "matched set", if you will. http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif Blue Ice Warp/Blue Ice HALO... That kinda thing.

I agree with Chaos on this one. Personally I like the clear colors better. But if you have a sizeable market for both, go for it.

As long as you keep the ones you have already. (As if you would stop making them.. LOL)

Just my opinion.

Tom, the Matt-Look is cool!

It would go expecially well with the new Matt Impulses that SP are doing or the Dust Angels from WDP.

All we need now are some nice Emag Extremes In Matt Blue to go with them!

the ice look is a good idea. will match people with blasted anoed guns. the original warps fit nice with the glossy anoed guns.

ever think of doing black? i want black... like the color of the rev black.

keep the ice color.

i like it.how much does it cost?

shartley
09-01-2001, 06:54 AM
It should cost the same as a standard WARP FEED (if put into production).

And you can get THAT price by simply going to their main site and looking. They have their equipment and prices there bold as day.

I like the frost. Then again I like satin finishes on a lot of things...

I'm just not a "flashy" guy (waiting for certain people to blow me out of the water...)

that being said, most people do not. it looks "unfinished" to them.

And you know... for all the way that phrase is thrown around, i haven't seen a whole heck of a lot of blue ice...

I like the IZE look alot....This would be great to someone who tries to follow that color scheme....This is hard to comment on due to the fact that us AO's arent the only ones that use warps. They are used on almost any marker and for sure those people dont visit this site....Maybe you post this in a main forum of like paintballdojo or something this way you can get everyones feedback?

I'd have to say proceed with the project. Hope there is more than one of those colors to come though. I especially like the detail of that little crack opening to see the wheel inside rather than being blind and not know whats going on in there. About the purple thing, My opinion can't count, Im red/green color blind and purples look like blue to me http://www.automags.org/ubb/biggrin.gif so it really is blue IMO

The "ice" look is awesome, you did a great job with it. But does it have to be a solid color, or can you make "fade shells" (like black to blue or blue to orange, etc)?

I like the "ice" style. I would also like a black version with a clear window, to show the flow of paintballs in the discs. Some thing like a clear letter "O" with the rest of the body being a matte black, black ice, if you will. Anyway, it seems that the idea is a resounding success. I will definitely be looking for a production model in the near future.

Looks cool, too bad I recently bought 2 Warp Feeds, 'cause I would've gotten an "ice" textured unit if they were available. Nice job, AGD.

Did you simply glass bead the outside of the cases (and mask the clear sight area)? If so, I can do that to my Warps!

Looks great to me! The only other thing id like to see on the warp feeds, are a 'neck' for the loader hole, I feel the warp doesnt hold enough of the loader neck, perhaps have something with a thumbscrew to hold the loader very securely, and 'sandwitch' the lower portion in between the two warp halves... Im always afraid my loader is going to fall off. just my thoughts.

I currently have a warp feed, and while
I like it, its getting very sratched up,
and looking pretty beat.
I think the "ICE" finish will retain its
look for longer since its a dull(not"dull"
in a bad way}finish.
So yes i like it, and the clear area to
see the balls in the wheel. I would definitly
replace my warp case w/ an "ICE" case.
I'll go for clear by the way.

I would like to see a warp the color of the picture of the smoke PTP on paintballgear.com's site. I ordered the smoke warp thinking it would be that deep blue/purple that's in that picture and it turned out to be a translucent brownish (which still looks pretty nice, but i'd prefer the color on pbgear's site.

Also, being able to buy new shells would be purdy cool :D
