i owned a hanmmer 2 once. do not waste your money. Buy a phantom, sniper, or stroker. you will be much happier. heck buy an sl-68 II those are great pump guns. kingman makes the hammer pump and i am sorry to say that it is just really cheap.

i have a phantom, but while browsing the internet ( actualy PHOG) i came across a old hammer ad. i thought the look of the II was actualy pretty cool and might make a cheap project gun... and the III is like a gun lost in time... i think it was a semi auto... looked just like a Sheridan XTS or a tippy, you know inline blowback. il see if i can find the add.

thats what i thought too but there is not much you can do to a hammer. the grip frames are all plastic. the field strip screws are even plastic.whats up bob.

The Hammer II is just another Nelson. Not altogether bad construction, but there are a few things on it that make you go "wha?"

the Hammer III is indeed an inline blowback from the 68 special lineage... The interesting thing about its design was the removable breech, much like the Matrix we see today. Very promising concept. Unfortunately they were recalled, and I do not know why. This makes them very difficult to get ahold of.

IIRC the Hammer 2 was a Sterling Clone, and the 3 was an early semi...
