Does anyone know if there is an attachment for a dremel i can get to sharpen my hockey skates? It would be so useful.

Well if it's any help, my dad has an attachment that he uses to sharpen his Bayonets for his WWII rifles. Maybe it's the same thing?? I can ask him later exactly which drum it is, he's at a gun show in Pennsylvania today.

i have the attachment for sharpening knife blades, but the ice skates are sharpened differently. There are two edges on them. The sharpener just cuts a U shaped channel into the metal, thus making two edges.

thanks for the replies tho.

why not just buy the little skate sharpening kit(not for the dremel obviously)? When I used to play Ice Hockey a lot of kids on the team would use them in the locker room before a game.
