What type of shoes do you guys suggest wearing for indoor play, I was just gonna wear regular sneakers to play but if theres something better than I'll go for it.

One of my teammates already has them and they seem to work very well.

The indoor field at my local place uses sawdust. I hate it.

Me too rdb, no fun. I haven't played in it yet but I'll probably just wear sneakers.

Yeah I use sneakers too, but if you don't slide when you enter a bunker, even if you are playing back, you will slip and end up on your hiney, guaranteed ;)

Warning : I'm biased here.

I've been using these shoes from "Bite" called "River Runners" for indoor and outdoor since last June, they're fantastic. You can find them by clicking this link. (https://www.biteshoes.com/cgi-bin/shopper?preadd=action&key=2705a) or You can visit their main site by clicking here (http://www.biteshoes.com/2002/outdoor.htm).

I do admit I'm biased, but these are really cool shoes. The down side to them is that they ARE low tops, and if you need ankle protection it's up to you to provide it. But I wear a brace, and it's all ok.

If you'r enot in the market for new shoes, just old sneakers will be mostly OK. :)

Those look like some nice shoes! Do they grip very well? What are the soles made up of?

well, call up agd, they had some ice ball shoes, made for agd a while back, and could tell you where to get some. I believe the company that made em was called forest ice. they are very comefortable, and will not slip. tom praised them very highly last time he posted on em... he uses em at CCP, which is notorious for slick floors

They're surprisingly durable, I've put mine through the cheese grater, and they're still in good shape. Same shoes I did that slide at SPPLAT from? Yeah, those.

and to answer Remmington : They use this "Sticky rubber" on the bottom with a durable rubber under it for stability, I'm convinced they shave tree frog feet becasue, man, until you walk up a wet log with 100% grip, you haven't lived.

I havent' tried the broom ball shoes, but I don't know if they'd hold up in woodland terrain like these do. And I've used the Airwalk "Avalanche" shoe, they'r eclunky, heavy, and they're really not all they're cracked up to be, IMHO, unless you need a LOT of ankle support. And, even then, they're heavy clunkers.

Like I said before, tho, I AM biased. Click here to see why. (http://www.biteshoes.com/2002/shared/adventure/tyger/index.htm) (I'm sponsored, ya see...)
