Back from being colored and almost complete, still have some parts and stuff coming next week but here is phase 2 of the project.

You will notice the x-valve and tank reg are a bit darker, this is due to the higher quality aluminum. I ended up not getting the milling grooves done in red as there will be some "genetic" material there next week unless I decide to leave it as is.

Detents are magnetic and you can see the magnet mounted in the allen hole on the cap.

You will also notice on the centerfeed breech that it no-longer says SFL.:D

Installed in gun now is a single trigger. I still have some tweaking to do with lvl10, and trigger setups. Anyway...on to the pics.

EDIT: Does the milling and annodising on the valve mean that it can no longer be serviced by AGD becuase of the SN?

Ummmm....WOW!
Dude, i can't believe you got it colored so fast and it looks splendid! the darkish dust finish really brings out the cuts, looks fantastic!

as a 1x trigger lover I hate to say it but it sorta ruins the flow of that part of the gun in my mind. I'd get a reg timmy trigger for pictures and a 1x for the field :)

Again...I'm glad AO is online and i can type cuz i am truly speechless

KilaueaKid.... question... i noticed ur Trigger pin is slightly out.... could u get it back in all the way or like me... not able to shove it in that small bit left....
cause after taking my trigger out once... i cant get the pin to go back all the way in...

Also... is that switch i see on the battery, in place of a yellow pin ?

in any case... very nice job...

In some pics the color looks very light, but in reality it is a nice medium-dark grey matte finish.

The valve/tank reg's darker color actually works really nicely.

Great job. I'll be hiring you to cut up my x-mag in 2020

I like it, but that 1x trigger looks fugly on that gun... maybe if it had a 1x trigger guard instead of the double, it'd look nicer... or maybe a double trigger. I am very impressed, especially with the milled valve! Amazing job though.

Very, nice job man. It is truly one of the most custom mags I have ever seen.

I dont know if I like it... I think I prefer a "flowing" look rather than the "hacked-to-hell" look. Perhaps one of those T36 Blade triggers would look better in there as well. Just me $.02.

Awesome, you'll have to put that on a scale and tell us light weight gun lovers how much it weighs so we can drool even more.

Wow killa, that is truely amazing. It looks better than i had dreamed it would. IM glad you stayed with the gun meatal grey finish, it looks really really hot.

Could you please explain about the magnetic ball detents? what do they add in the way of performance? and, where can i get one?

Who did your milling? and who did your anno work?

How does the magnetic detent work? Because I know the three things that magnets stick to, and aluminum isn't one of them. Please, educate me :)

here is a small idea I had

Ok to answer some questions:

magnet detents: there is a bullet shaped detent that is hollow with a stack of small magnets inside. On the cap is an embeded magnet and they retract from each other.

Custom Grips, hall sensor switches, selector switch and jewels for milling slots are on the way.

Most of milling was done by teamates, friends and some other shops. Ano'ing was a local company.

I will agree that the 1x trigger may not be all about the looks, but if you would be able to feel this grip in your hand with a single trigger, you would understand.....anyway...I do like to walk my trigger, so I didn't forget to do a couple extra double triggers;)

I think that is it for now, here are some pics with the double trigger on it.

those parts are stainless and would have to be painted. Stainless can't be ano'd. Paint would probably chip off after awhile. I'm not sure about powdercoating...that may be a possibility??

Very nice. Did you get it annoed by a Paintball specific annodizer, or just a local annodizer, I always wondered if I went to a regular annodizer if they would know what to do.

Very nice again!:D ;)

So, where can we get these magnetic detents? i think they would make sence to have on a magnetic triggered marker, dont you? ID like to buy a set if you haver any for sale any time soon.

FalconGuy016

I honestly think you really need a double trigger on that

I have had one of my autocockers powdercoated. it turned out beautiful. i couldnt have it annoed because it was stainless steel. i would definately get em powdered red. the powder holds up very nicely, especially considering those probably wont ware as fast.
You need to straighten out those guages bro!
Nice and unique way of making light lighter!

I dislike the color (powdercoat/beadblast?) very much. I love the gun, but i believe another anno would totally bring out the milling in that gun. The milling is way too happy for a plain jane anno like that. GJ with everything though.

I would suggest a solid color anno. Perhaps a metallic blood red would be very sweet (with chrome accents instead of the red ones you have :) with new style SS freak back).

Hey if you ever deside to sell it (to me :p) i can make it more beutiful. ;)

have fun. :D

also, i would get red jewels for the freak back and the freak front. cheap and effective!

Jewels for the freak are on the way, along with other jewels for the various milled areas.

I will look into powdercoating for those ss parts.

I modified some existing detents and came up with the magnetic detent design, which still need to be field tested.

It looks very very nice. I have to get this out, i dont mean to flame, but the annoing looks a little uneven and sloppy? Or maybee its just the pics, cause it doesnt look very smooth. Maybe its my monitor. But nice job!
