Hey Hey, we have a winner.
Splatterzone Paintball Productions held a fundraiser raffle throughout the summer last year to help raise funds for Cosmos Youth Paintball Orginization. (CYPO) With the help from our good friends at Airgun Designs,we were able to raffle off a brand new chrome Automag RT Pro along with many other paintball related gear and supplies.
Our raffle is different from most raffles. Everyone that sold tickets received half of that money themselves to put toward paintballing. This way they would be getting something out of all their hard work they had done selling tickets. Our grand prize package was worth just over $1250.00. With everyones help we were able to sell just over 900 tickets. We were hoping to have enough money to start building our new tank for our youth orginization for more scenerio games and parades, but after splitting the money with our sellers and balancing out the rest after paying for prizes, we had just enough to get our youth team, "Team COWTIPPERS" registered into one, possibly two tournaments this spring.
Splatterzone will be hosting our very first Young Guns tournament this coming spring at Fox Paintball in Millington. This will be a rookie division level only and is open for all youths ages 16 and under. This will be a three man team event with trophies and prizes awarded to the 3 best teams. First place will receive entry into the Fox Triple Threat (rookie division) tournament that will be held a few weeks after our Young Guns event.
Well, I think everyone had a great time with this fundraiser raffle. It took alot of time and effort but was definately worth all the work. A special congradulations to MIKE COOPER of Lancing Michigan. He was our big winner. He said he purchased his winning ticket at the "BIG SHATNER EVENT" at Challenge Park Extremes in Joliet last summer.
