Stickers are sexy to a certain point. They cannot be too big and there cannot be too many of them. A few nice stickers does make a marker look pretty nice tho.

i'm not putting stickers on my mag until someone pays me to..i personally think it looks a bit tacky unless the person is sponsored..then they don't care : )

I don’t have any stickers on any of my markers. And I don’t like stickers on my vehicles either. The only time I would justify it is if it was to cover a rust hole or hold your car together… ;)

I do however think jewels look nice.

I don't like stickers on markers very much; they make them look ghetto-fabulous. The hopper, to me, is comparable to the bumper of a car. The bumper tends to be the most appropriate place for stickers, rather than say, on the hood, or on a rim. If I wanted a custom look I'd get a jewel, milling, anno/powdercoating, or laser engraving.

I have a few level 10 stickers on my battery pack. I don't think covering your gun looks very good, though.

a "fueled by hate" sticker would be champion.

I put stickers on my gun for 3 reasons

1. they are sponsors stickers, gotta support 'em

2. I think they look cool.......ghetto-fabulous

3. they help prevent scratches you may get on the gun during normal play. If you wanna sell the gun, take off the stickers. It will have less scatches then if you had no stickers

stickers on hoppers and tanks look nice when placed well, and without piling 20 of them sloppily over eachother. but take away from the natural beauty of a gun when actually stuck to a gun, with the exception of some smaller stickers on obscure parts of the gun (lx stickers dont look to bad when use only 1 or 2)

i think stickers on the guns, tanks, and hoppers looks tacky. it disrupts the overall flow of the gun. i'm also not a fan of the jewels on markers either. oh well, i guess i'm just simple like that.

I have a couple stickers on my battery pack. But just enough to give it alittle something else. Sticker placement is almost like and art form in itself. I just don't go sticking them any were. They have to fit and look good in the palce that you put them.

That's my cocker

Stickers are horrible and do not have a place on markers :)

Hopper stickers are OK, and I love Pepsi bottle tanks, but very rarely does a sticker make a gun look better....performing better is different and much more common though.

I believe many paintball players see stickers as an inexpensive yet very vocal way of expressing individuality on a paintball gun that thousands of other people may also own. It's like putting a custom license plate on your car...there may be fifty thousand other cars just like it on the road, but this one is MINE.
I personally put stickers on my gun as a shameless plug for my own magazine (www.pb2x.com) and the company I work for, to support my advertisers and/or sponsors, or help give a free billboard to companies that I believe in...for example:

32* is obviously a sponsor, not a company you believe in, right Josh? :)

Personally, I like stickers on guns, hoppers, and equipment. To me, they kind of resemble the way tattoos look on people. It's like your gun being an extension of yourself and you've got these miniature illustrations so to speak in various places...a lot like tattoos. And if their's one thing us "extreme sports people" are into, it's tattoos... :D

(What a nice generalization that is...J.K.!)

I am an absolute sticker whore. I've been that way since before paintball, so it just carried over nicely. My car is covered with stickers, my old stereo was covered with stickers, and my gun is covered with stickers.

i have a few stickers on my hopper one on my warp and a lvl 10 inside on the valve. i am looking for one that fits on the mag body but am not having much luck. if anyone knows of one let me get the heads up on it.

I have a few stickers on my MicroMag...

1. "POWERED by HONDA" Since Honda makes really fast cars, people will know I shoot really fast.

2. "K&N Performance Filter" A K&N can get you like 20-30hp in your car...so on your marker, you probably shoot 20yds farther.

3. "Type-R" I was gonna get a "LVL10" sticker...but no one knows what the hell that is. Everyone knows "Type-R!" nuff said..

4. While its not really a sticker I was thinking about mounting a really large wing to the top of my loader. It will probably steady the gun as i run and shoot....hmm....

:D

"Stickers" are lame... and look bad.

"Decals" - the nice vinyl-die cut ones - look wonderful on most guns. Stickers look cheesy.

I have two AKALMP stickers on my mag :) The small AKA stickers fit nicely on the body. I put them on there as a joke, but they are stayin put :)

I cover my toolbox in them. But only have a few on my equipment. My halo has bob long and a lvl 10 ninja sticker (even though I don't shoot a mag anymore) and my GZ has some bob long stickers. But none of my other guns have anything on them.

I rather have a marker covered in stickers than one in a nice anno. After a while, your anno gets scratched and stuff. With stickers, if they get old and ugly, just take em off and start over.

I have them on my toolbox. I have a few well evil and dye wull placed on my gun(along the body) and an AGD, RP, JT, and "Are those my balls on your face" by Evil

On the other side is a PGI sticker, but ya gotta "represent!" :) If you can't read it, it says "Get your own sticker and stop reading mine!"

Getting stickers to look right is an art form. It takes time and thought to get it to look like anything other than crap. You should meditate before placing any stickers:rolleyes:

I put a freeflow tech decal on my emag ... it was only supposed to be there for one day but you would be surprised as to how many people will come up and say "I didn't know free flow did a mag" and my reply is sure it does and it opperates at 85 psi lol LOL hahaha

I agree with everyone that said it's an art. My gun will have maybe 2 or 3 small stickers on it, but they will only be from companies I actually own something from, kind like vinyl on a modified car. I do the same thing for my snowboard and my car.

well in nppl, my stuff was COVERED in stickers, this was just because
1. i didnt pay for the equipment
2. it makes hits less noticable
some paint will bounce off (if it gets the right angle off the gun) and not break at all.
---beef---
BTW number 2, is a extremley well practied thing that went down in the nppl. so i dont want any hatemail.

Wc Keep
01-15-2003, 09:22 PM
yeah i was so practiced that nppl altered the rules to limit the number of stickers on hoppers.
