Thought some of you would get a laugh from this: Went to Air Gun Design's online store to order a Level 10 for my RT, well during the check out I noticed the shipping charges that I would have to pay. Come on AGD, I know your products are top quality and for this I'm willing to pay good money for them, but don't you think this is excessive ? :D

- figure that the database doesnt like my mailing address...quess I'll have to call them and bargain with the store on the shipping

well, actually you have to blame UPS

Perhaps Fed-Ex would be a cheaper alternative

By the way, do you know why it's that price? It's cause the shipping companies got . . .

LOL, the newest thing in paintball: you'll pay 3$ for a xmag and 1497$ for shipping. Acually i think Remington got it right: shipping rode rage.

LOL, next day to japan :)

Cough MORON! :)

You can book 2000 dollar last minute tix if you like, and MAYBE get to illinois in a day, but then you have your level 10 in chicago, not japan.

Silly japanese....just cuz we like your sushi don't mean we're gonna cut you shipping breaks :)

NExt day air to Japan would be that expensive.

Or somewhere around there.

UPS has a service called "Sonic Burst Next Flight."

Basically, a UPS representitive picks up your package, drives to the airport, buys a ticket for the next available flight to the destination, boards the flight with your package, gets off (when it lands) delivers the package, and gets on a return flight home.

It isn't always the same guy, sometimes they pay a courier, or turn a passager into a courier for a hefty chunk of their ticket fee. (Think "Hey, will you take this package with you on your flight to Japan, we'll pay you for your ticket!")

This would be a pretty expensive service to Japan as tickets aren't cheap.

Oh, and this service usually doesn't have any preset pricing, so that's not what the store was computing.

I'm betting it was just a glitch due to the address or something.

I'm assuming here, but if you're at an APO or FPO address, AGD can ship it to you via USPS if you call them.
