Does the LX come on the Xmag. I just got a brand new Xmag and it chops like crazy. It has a LX box in the package, without a bolt in it. Do I need to assemble the LX, or does it just need to be adjusted.

it comes installed, your either need to break it in, fine tune it, or it's something else. Does the breech have a detent? how cold was it? did the paint fit the barrel? are they chops or barrel break?

I finally got it working. I think it needed to be broke in
but It's still chopping with a good paint to barrel match.

Which bolt spring are you using? What kind of paint are you shooting and how cold is it? What's your velocity? Are you using the loosest carrier o-ring fit that doesn't leak? Does the paint fit the barrel?

Is it exploding near the breech or near the end of the barrel?

I'm using JT maxim and Evil paint. It is 68 degrees and I'm using a 689 freak. Perfect match. They are barrel and breach breaks with paint going up the feed tube. Also I'm using a halo b and a evo II. It is brand new and I'm using the setup that it came with, with the cut spring in it. Also the bolt is wearing in the breach. The LX works, but if I have the ball detent in all the way it won't fire a ball, but just exhaust air. And the ACE does'nt work.

While I don't have an X-mag, I do know that 1) you can adjust the ACE and 2) you have to enable it in the software.

I turned it on like it says to, but you can fire with or without paint

Which is why you have to adjust it. It's not just plug and play. It requires some tweaking.
