Is it really back heavy?
How far off the body is it?
Would you recomend the eggy II for a mag?

It's pretty well balanced actually. I used one on my norise mag and it felt really good. It seemed a little more balance than my revy since the weight of the hopper is centered right over the grip frame. It may be a bit different when it's on a powerfeed body but like I said i had one on my norise body and loved it.

Eggos may be balanced, but they actually LOOK pretty unbalanced. It looks odd, and more than a bit awkward.

Whenever I see a picture of one on a Mag, it reminds me of a giant robot tick sucking the life out of the Mag.

:D

it works very well on a CF IMO but i don't know about P/F looks kinda akward. I had never tried one and only seen pics and hated it until my friend bought one for his GZ and its sweet

Could you cut the part in red down to make it less tall?

you sure could! very easily too. its pretty durrable so i wouldn't worry about it snapping...search around, there was a thread about cutting the necks a while ago.

I don't find it off ballance or awkward. Frankly once I'm playing I don't notice at all. Just like any other loader, only bloody fast. :)

I've heard from a few people that have cut down their feedtube by one ball lenth, and haven't had any problems at all.

hmmm...i kinda wanna dye my eggo now :( and i'm pretty sure it won't work - any thoughts on this guys?

I would just take the standard Rit Dye route...

Evo II is the BEST. It feeds like a halo, makes your gun look all spiffy. And Mine will be on a warp in about 2 days. I wonder what that will be like?

I ordered mine and should be in sometime this week. I am using it on a classic mag with an x-valve and hyperframe upgrades with much more. I ordered the clear one and am planning on painting camoflouge on the front part of it. I would like to know when i'm out of paint though that is why i will not do the whole thing. That is another reason i didn't order the solid black one. I was also planning on cutting the neck down also. i was going to wit and see how much when i recieved the thing. I will post pictures when it is finished.

The one thing I've noticed when playing with my Evo is the noise it makes. It sounds kinda hollowed (sp?). Like you can hear the balls moving around if you tilt your gun towards the ground, or back up to fire. Other than that it's great. I cannot outshoot it, and I don't get any chops even without the LX. It looks nice too (mine's black). And when I play everyone always says "There's the kid with the best hopper.":D

Using the Rit dye to color stuff is sweet. My friend dyed his warp a TRUE RED (cause the actual red that is comes in looks kinda orangy), and it turned out fantastic. Just heat up some water and heat up the plastic parts so that the dye will be more potent and it'll really take the color in. It is really easy to do.

where can buy this dye and what are the exact directions?

Rit dye can be found at K-mart, Walmart etc.

Find a pot deep enough to get a shell half submerged. Dissolve the dye in water and bring it too a simmer, not boil. Dip your pieces in the dye for about 30 seconds at a time and remove them before they get too hot and try and warp. Repeat until you get the color and darkness you want. Try not to let the plastic touch the sides or bottom of the pot. I suspend parts from wire tied to a skewer. and wear some plastic gloves if you have them unless you want tie-dyed hands for a few days.
