I was argueing in the chat, having people tell me it's unsafe and I'll screw up my 300 dollar x-valve, I've seen it done before, but I want to know if it is safe.

Isn't that one of the reasons tom made it aluminum... so it could be reannodized, if not inform me :D

you can order them un-anno'd or in a special color but re-anno'ing them is VERY hard because of the 7000 grade aluminum. It's very hard to anno them as it is.

I'm going through a military annodizer, much like AKALMP's.

It takes 7 seconds to strip WDP's Annodizing where as it took 7 minutes to strip his annodizing.

I just want to know so I don't screw up my x-valve or end up with a dust orange gun and black valve :)

What about the serial #? How's that work if they are un-anno'd?

afterwards you send it back to AGD, they engrave the goods on it and register the valve at the same time.

The parts sent unannodized would be just the reg housing or would the entire valve be sent out as a complete unit?
