does barrel length affect accuraccy? my freind and me are in this big debate and he thinks that, for instance a 12" barrel of the same brand is less accurate than a 14" of the same brand. is this true?

If its a 2 piece barrel, definetly no. The front part is a larger bore, so the paintball wont be affected by it. If its a 1 piece, to a degree the longer one is, but only in extreme cases (i.e a 4 inch compared to a 16 inch). Comparing a 12" to 14", given the other factors affecting accuracy, there will be no difference The main factor for accuracy is the finish on the inside on the barrel, and of course paint to barrel match. One thing to note is that some people shoot more accurate with a longer barrel, because its easier to sight with, meaning when you line up the target with the tip of the barrel, its easier with a longer barrel. The ball still takes the same path regardless tho. And when guns now can shoot 20+ balls a second, who needs to aim?
