View Full Version : How many people have a warp? And to AGD, how are the sales on warps?

First off my poll is just that, do you have a warp? And I also am curious how many warps have been sold/are being sold? I remember Tom that you were saying the warp really has not taken off very well. Such a shame.

As soon as the new AL bodies come out, I'll probably sell my warp and warp left body. It's a bit too heavy with a black (non ULE) EMag, in my opinion.

I do like the idea, though. And I never had any problems with mine.

The warp is a steady seller for us, we sell a couple thousand per year. Its just not a big hit in the market that would justify a 2nd gen. There are like 12 different injection molds to make that thing. Not easy from a develpment point of view.

Thanks for an answer. Wow! 12 different injenction molds? That is a lot of money..... hehe well from what I learned when I worked in a factory doing plastic injection molding.... as in how much the molds cost to actually make. I could be wrong though.

What signifies a big hit?

you forgot the "I can't afford one" option.

No I didn't. That is what "I like pie" and "It is not for me" options are for :) because if you can't afford one its not for you :)

I have one on my new Emag ... lil heavy, but nothing you cant deal with and being able to turn my gun at weird angles to "hide" it when peeking out is invaluable.

Sincerely,
Dave K

Have one already. Someone said they were going to give me one at the last chat party, can't remember who, but it wasn't part of the chat, and I never got it, so will be buying another for my xmag. I thought about getting one for my pump-mag, just for the fun of it, but don't know how comfortable I would be actually pumping it, with the WF. :D

*waaaahhh* i feel so poor.

i've never been able to use one, or even witness somebody use it, but personally i think it's kinda ugly (it's sad that that's the only thing i can judge it by). apparantly it works tho, so if i had the money i'd probably get one.

Got one. Love it. Board just died though, have to order another one.

I think Boggerman's is the only other one that I've seen around here. I never really thought about them too much till I tried his setup. Liked it a lot and didn't notice the moved hopper as much as I thought I would. So I bought one. :D

At my field warps are a huge hit. AGD: Our friend Smokee_2_7 (aka Doc) sells AGD Products like mad. There are probably over 15 mags at the field and over 6 warps.

I had one for my RT, loved it. However, I have a bushy at the moment, and the warp just doesn't seem to do it for me on a vert feed gun. If I ever get ahold of an xmag(ha!) there will be a warp on it.

I liked the idea but never bought one because shooting fast is just something I don't do. And I've been more involved in woodsball than anything so having to "peek" from behind my "bunker" just doesn't happen.

i have one on my minimag and i love it... i have to play without a warp without my spyder when i decide to use it... and i repeatedly get hopper shots... I HATE HOPPER SHOTS... i love my warp, so compact, pretty light, ads color to my mag  the only downside to a warp is a bit of added weight, and it makes a larger target to shoot at when someone shoots you from the side or during a bunkering... had 3 shots on the hopper like that, but i can accept it

Whats with all these fools clicking pie? It doesnt help anybody, its no funny. All it is is an overused cliche that people like to muse over. Whats the point?

I like my warp on the E-mag. Turning the gun at funky angles to get shots off is way cool.

If i ever had any extra money i would get one. I love the idea of being able to put your gun in almost any possition and getting a few shots off.

This also is my first post here on AO and i also got my first mag to day. YaY!
