Whats the difference? My friend is thinking about getting a Genx4, whats your opinion about them?

Swings and hinges are one and the same.

As far as the ANS goes, if he wants it, go for it. Nothing wrong with it. It's all about personal preference.

i would look into the eclipse blade frmae. it is AMAZING

The ANS and the Eclipse hinge frames are startlingly similar. I would still get an Eclipse, but if I got a GX4, I'd just keep ANS's frame.

Yes, they are similar, but the ANS frame has a softer trigger spring. I love the Genx4, its extremly fast and the frame is excellent.
