I couldn't make the first one, but would like to make the second if possible. Depends on dates, and some other minor details. the sooner I know details, the better chances I can plan for it.

my mother thought the whole idea and stuff was great. after watching the video of the first one that i won, it looked like a lot fun, except for the air issue.

she said shes thinking of going as a 'vacation trip', but also so i can play. but we'll see.

there was already a thread about the second one, its being held here in PA at EMR paintball out in the western part of the state, but i'm not sure yet exactly what they're calling it, but its def the SPLAAT event for this year, do a search for i'm sure its around here somewhere.

i know i'm def making it along with misfit, we live in philly, and still have a pretty far drive, about 5 or 6 hours, but its def gonna be worth the drive. EMR has some aweseom fields, esp their castle, which is about 1 acre around and has speedball fields in the middle, check out Blues website http://www.emrpaintball.com/

I would, but it's too damned far from California. I'm still gonna try to finagle it, got a good friend who lives in Philly.

I have the feeling there will be a number of scenario players that might have gone to this event that won't make it now. From what I have seen the event was not announced soon enough, it is competing with a long planned event at EMR in May, it is only 8 hours, and JJ has not had enough visibility with the scenario crowd. It is really not getting much good press.

PA's about the same distance as Chicago was, so we'll see... I know I'll have to miss some class to go, but ya only live once :)
