No idea, but I am looking forward to the sound activated TSA.Maybe they think people will outshoot the HALO with the new roller trigger? But really, who the hell needs to feed that fast?

Is this being made by OPP?

Yes it is. It's on their site although the pic is all that's there.

This makes no sense at all! I would think that OPP would make some sort of rechargeable battery pack for use in the HALO to replace the 6 AA's... I'd rather have something like that that would most likely lighten the loader rather than increase the feed rate.

dude just buy a 6 cell AA nimh. towerhobbies.com

i think a hump pack should fit unless they have a square one.

Maybe it's an upgrade for the upcoming TSA,not the B at all.

On the site it says it's for the HALO B.

It say's it's for the Halo B.
Look's to me like it's a solid
drive impeller,
I would think this would turn my
perfectly good Halo B,
into a perfectly good BLENDER!!
Until I get some real info, instead
of just a pic I'm not going to jump
all over this!
Rick:eek:

Don't get me wrong, I love my Halo B
more than any Hopper I've had in 13 yr's.
But until I see some Hard Data "I aint
fallin for it"

Supposedly the new software for the Halo B doesn't have the excessive spin after the balls stop moving that the current software does.

Lemme go grab my halo then hypothesize....(is that even how you spell it?)

OK...now that it's in my hand...it makes no sense :)

What i was thinking was....if the software only spun enough to let exactly 1 ball down at a time per spin cycle, you wouldnt need the added play in the cone.

I think that this is exactly what the halo needs to be a super loader.

The upside I see in this, in my tired stupor, is that this upgrade could blast the halo past its current position as top force fed loader, to one that is so consistant and efficient it's almost like it uses magazines. Think about a magazine....you have 8 balls there (that's how many ridges there are on this rip thing, and they're all ordered properly and advance the perfect amount per pull for the next shot.

OK - my guess, this is a new impellar for when they release a new board. The final outcome will be a loader that feeds exactly 1 ball at a time, eliminating the halo's feeding past the detent/ double feeding/chopping issues.

THE END!

it can get faster. they can do a board modification to make your HALO B run at 35bps

So I should probably at least upgrade my HALO A to a B....maybe even get colored shells, eh? :D

It can't be an impellar,it's a belt driven feed system, the only force fed loader out.Impellars are for agitating loaders I thought,I could be wrong,I'm no loader expert............

It could be a solid replacement for the sprung cone.
