View Full Version : Does anyone know how to add the show desktop in the quick launch bar?

Does anyone know how to add the show desktop button in the quick launch bar (the buttons next to Start button) I know how to add things but I dont know where to find that button again!

Add the shortcut to your desktop, then just click and drag it.

Oh, and if you can't find the icon at all, go into My Computer, then to C:, then to Windows folder, then to Systems folder, and then scroll down adn you should see it.

Thanks, thats what I meant
Edit: It is not there, I have two systems folders, System and System32. System has practically nothing but I cant find it in the other
I have XP

K, just find it in there (in alphabetical order), then just do what I said in the first post.

Oh you have XP, I was doing mine on 98. Try going to start, then to find, then files or folders, then do a search for Show Desktop (try typing it this way first, that's how it appears in mine) in C:. See if that works.

Any one with the icon in their toolbar can email it to you. Its a file. Save it, then drop it into your tool bar. I'm serious.
