Hey, just wondering what's so special about them to warrant a 1,600 price tag other than milling, Lol.

Looks nice though

Nothing. What joke. They only even milled the body, the rest is completely stock.

Maybe its just me, but I really don't like the idea of having a big shocktech logo milled into any gun.

It makes sense to me. Then everyone will know you paid too much for your Intimidator!

people that buy that gun will have envy for shcoktech or bad boys toys or aftershock. No performance upgrades, just a name. Personally, I have better things to do with MY money.

Weird.... they could've made it like the cockers and put new internals and stuff in addition to the milling. THEN maybe they coudl charge 500 extra for that timmy.

I know the Timmy like the back of my hand and will say for certain that they did not make any new internals for it. They *may* have upgraded the cup seal to a black magic - but that is a simple swap.

The 'noid, ram tube, and guts will be the same. They also *might* have put a Ti ram in it - but again this is an off the shelf item.

I hate to say it, but the Timmy is prett close to perfect when you buy it. It can use an adjustab;e ram cap and that is all it requires - save a WAS eye.

66.6 bps Board

mmmmhmmmm

I'm not seeing your point about this? Does it say the gun can physically shoot 66.6 bps? NO. The board can cycle that fast. This is a big deal to some intimidator users who have been with the timmy since the classic, which was capped at 14 bps. Ever shot one of those? It was a real "witch" to play with it on semi because if you pulled the trigger 15 times per second you were getting even less than 14 shots out of it because it was checking the trigger every 1/14th of a second.

Now with the SOB board, it could shoot 66.6 bps (not the gun, but the electronics). BIG step for us intimidator users. Now the WAS/Equalizer can shoot even faster and has so many more user adjustable features, but tthat's a differnt story.

Don't knock the gun without knowing anything about it. It's a high price intimidator because it's a SMALL run of them. It's got the outrageously priced shocktech milling on it and it looks good. I would not buy one, but for those that might have money to burn, what else says "i've got enough money to buy any gun, why not buy a high priced one?", like the shocktech timmy.

But once again, stock timmy (aka the 2k2 version). Shoots just like any other timmy (fast). Oh ya, i forgot, the shocktech timmy shoots an extra 20 feet cuz of the pricetag :)

If I hadn't recently gotten a dragon, I'd be buying one of these. This is my favorite timmy milling to date. Maybe one day I'll try trading the classic and GZ for one.

i still like the draggon milling way more than the shocktech. I think the draggon is probably IMO the best looking gun on the market to date.

its absolutly stunning

The 66.6 BPS board is the slower of the two (SOB and WAS). There is no advantage to the shocktech timmy besides the fact that they're rather un-common. For 1600 the least they could do was add the matching boomstick, a hydra bolt, a hybrid ram cap, and a WAS Board. Then their sales would go up becuase no one has a stock set-up like that. But no, they dont even include the boomstick anymore.

Yeah, funny how they give the Aftershock Cockers a plethora of barrels to go with it.

I don't know, I've been thinking about getting a Timmy for my second gun to compliment the SFL.....

Since my SFL only has Semi-Auto on it, I was kind of hoping that the Timmy (or whatever gun I got) had full auto capability just so I could go out in my backyard and mow down plants with it (literally) :D

And that spraypaint is supposed to be satin finish; I happen to like it better than the gloss finish on my current gun hehe.

Hey, people have bought them so I guess to someone it is worth the $1600. That's all that really matters, is it worth it to you to pay $1600 for some nice milling, a name, and mayby a little bit of pride. Otherwise, I'd buy an Ironman Timmy. IMO, the best looking marker in the industry.

Yeah, the blue and black color scheme is nice.

But does the board come with different firing modes though?

I have seen 2 people with these. The only reason they got them was BECAUSE of the price tag. With a price tag like that no one is going to want them. Now there will be none in circulation (accorindg to their theory) so when they go to turn around and sell it for resale they will be able to get much more than resale on a letts say Dragon or Ironman. I'm not sure if I buy into this theory but it sounds somewhat valid and the guns do look sweet as hell in real life.

That's a unique theory to say the least. But ya know, if the think it will work, then who's to say it won't?

rdb123

That's probably what people were thinking about the SFL Emags. Well guess what, looks like resale is around 1200 if you are lucky -- a few hundred short of MSRP. =)

But people who buy SFL E-mags tend to keep them.:D
