Hey, this past weekend I saw a guy using a 88 tank which was thin like a 68, not fatlike a 114. Does anyone know who makes this tank? Thanks.

The old style maxflow 88/4500's are the same diameter as 68ci tanks as well just longer. I'm pretty sure the new style ones are the same way as well but not positive. I personally like the 88ci stubbies better since you can use a shorter drop unlike the longer ones.

So yeah whats the deal with Air America running "the Reg" special? I mean a 68/45k with a mel'ee reg for $150-$160? I notice there is no lifetime warrantee on the tanks, any one have a clue? Is the actual "melee" tank discontinued? I am in a market for HPA, but i wonder if im gonna gets screwed buyin buget, thats just my luck.

My 88ci geddon has the longer tank.. I called AA a few weeks back to ask if they sold 88 stubby tanks because I was trying to find one to switch my geddon arm too, and they said the 88 tanks ordered from the site are the shorter ones, but the person sounded unsure..

yes the melee are covered with lifetime warranty...as long as you dont attempt to do reg work yourself..then that voids the warranty....theya r great tanks...im very very satisfied with mine....like i said...i like it better than the geddon

How are the crossfires? I haven't seen many posisitive posts here about them. Is there a problem with them, or is just a personal preference thing. I mean I have a 32 degrees tank, and it is supposed to be not so good, but I am happy with it.

I have and use a crossfire 45/45, and am very pleased with it. We sell lots of crossfire tanks at the shop, and have had NO problems whatsoever.

Air America is now changed "the Reg" to lifetime warranty. the listened to the forums and others, and realized that the customer didnt like the fact that it wasnt Lifetime warrantied. so they changed it to lifetime, and it is retro-active to any "The Reg" systems!

I have one of the long 88 4500 bottles for sale, just the bottle. It's in good condition, but I'm not sure the date on it. If anybody wants it let me know.
