Hello,
I'm a new airsmith and just rebuilt a mini-mag.
During the process I was very surprised to find a spring where the power tube spacer should have been. Not having any spacers I just put it back (after the new O-ring of course,) finished the rebuild and gassed it up. It works just fine!
The spring is approximately the same I.D. and O.D as a spacer and is filed or ground flat on the ends, like it was made/modified for that purpose.
Is this an old mag or some discontiued aftermarket mod?
I can't find any info regearding this anywhere else and figure someone here might have seen this before.
FYI- Mini-Mag Reg and Body (same ser.#'s)
