I'm looking for a good picture of a "nightmare" for our team's logo (AO Nightmare).

I'm talking about the black horse with flaming hooves, ect. not the kind where you look down and realize you've shown up to class without any pants :D .

We want to have a banner made up and we've got most of the logo done but really need a good picture to add to it.

Thanks for the help.

Check out Wizard of the Coasts web-site. I believe you can find a pic of their Nightmare playing card that should do you good.

I think this is more along the lines of the "showing up to class with no pants on" idea. :D

How about the Nigerian Nightmare

Or is this more along the lines of what you are looking for

How about one I drew? ;)

Of course if you are looking specifically for a "Night Mare" I recommend you search the Elfwood (http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/elfwood.html) . Just make sure you get the artists premision before using anything you find.

What do you think about drawing a Night Mare for us?

I welcome the challenge. Horses are normally in my lexicon, but I don't see a reason not to try. I'll put something together. Keep looking in the mean time though, I can't guarantee anything.....

If you have any questions about style, that bottom drawing is mine.

Great! Do you work in color?

That site you gave is good as well. Thanks.

if you like the idea of horses why not do a spin off of the horsmen of appocolypse (sp) except put the horsemen in jerseys :)

I really like this, or a spin-off of it:

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about. The others are great but JAM's has the simple lines that transfer well to banners and such.

The only thing I would change is adding some flames to the hooves although the red coloring to them is a very good compromise using the idea of flames without adding more complexity.

I think it's a great logo. Is it your work? If so, can we use it in our design?

Patron, since when do scantily clad women qualify as a "nightmare"? :)

:snicker: Allot of Luis Royo's work is a good combination of both. I didn't even realize that was in there until you mentioned it.
