Dead flowers are WAY too expensive.

My girlfriend considers it a special day for the woman. I disagree. Besides a great way for Hallmark to make money, isn't it about celebrating love and relationship?

Takes two to tank, no?

But last year I whined enough and got a monkey bobble head and a really nice wallet!

I also got hooked up from a friend with a $50 gift card to a swanky steakhouse, where my woman and I will be going to eat on V-Day. Yahoo for free meat!!!

Even if this holiday does suck, I still have to do something for my girlfriend, but I'm really fresh out of ideas because we do not go to school on V-day, and I can't drive (yet, I can in a few weeks). Any suggestions?

Valentine's Day is a bogus holiday. It was made to make suckers out of guys.

I guess I am the exception for I actually like the "holiday". I think it is said that we actually have to have a day to show our love, shouldn't this be year round. But anyways, I look forward to that day.

Usually Valentines isn't my favorite day, but this year is different, as I have no school on it! :cool: And then I get Monday off also, so woot! 4 day weekend.:cool:

Make her a card, write her a poem - give it to her at school on the 13th if you know that you wont be able to see her. What ever you end up deciding, it is NOT the money that you spend but the thought and love you put into it that really counts.... Plus a girl loves a poem writen by her man just for her and NO ONE ELSE!!!
