AO VA Day!?!

there is a big 3-man tournament at Splat Bros on the 16th so you will be short a bunch of AO members missing if you do it then. How about 2-3 weeks later???

What are you talking about, saturday is so much better ? We dont have a regatta and I wouldn't mind missing a practice for this. Honestly the worst thing about the tournament was that it was on sunday, school being the next day.

yeah, i guess missing a practice wouldn't be too horrible...but if half a boat decides on the SAME PRACTICE not to go...:( *hides in fear of andy*

What about us kids in the South west VA area? If lilsnowpixie and I came, it would be a 5 hour drive at the least, probably more since I don't really know where pevs is.

yeah you would be missing 6 AOers at least b/c we have the tourney.


but any other date I will definitely be there, if its not near RIchmond we can do a road trip with a convoy

I've been to SW VA. It's quite possibly the most boring spot I've ever visited. Really nice countryside, but boring as hell. I was in Willis, about 50 miles south of Christiansburg, and there wasn't a decent bar within an hours drive. Bah :)

Well, that is Willis. If your car is fast enough, you can be through it before you are in it. Roanoke is still boring though.

Yeah, I was there for a weekend visiting a friend from VA Beach who got stuck living out in Willis for a few months. She always complained about how boring it was so I figured I'd go down and see just how boring it could be.

Well I havent been able to sit down with Pev and work out detail for whats going to be going on at the BigGame / Mega Sale.

I do know the following tid bits :

The Sale will be a full week, unlike past sales that rotated from shop to shop. March 17-22

The Big game is the 23rd ( maybe 22nd Not sure yet )

Here is the problem. If we want to just kinda jump into the big game that shouldnt be a big issue. If we want to kinda keep to our selves that might prove a bit more of a problem depends on how we will be running the Big Game ( what fields are being used )

So when I can actuall manage to get some tim eto have a sit down with Pev I will try to iron out some of the details with him.

I think we should all just jump into the Big Game. Less work and planning involved. We all meet up there, set up a lil basecamp with crazy lil camping tables like I got and have our own lil "posse / hunting party" during the game.

Kenny and Kevin: I just realized the Big Game is a week after our tourney :confused:

Hmm, I doubt that us going to the Big Game would be too horrible...if anything there would end up being more people, AO + "normal."
