I was just messing around with my SFL when I checked the LED display and it says that there are ZERO shots on the Total Shot Counter (yes, the Total Shot Counter; not the "Shots" Counter).
That's really weird considering as of last night, I put nearly 10,000 shots through this thing and the counter was reading 10K shots.
This happen to anyone else or am I just lucky? hehe

Update: Just noticed that whenever I turn the gun off, then turn it back on, it resets the Total Shots to zero.
VERY weird.

From my understanding, the shot counter software has always been a little buggy. Though you think AGD would have done something about it by now.. maybe it's fixed on the new X-mags?

AcemanPB, probably not considering the SFL is essentially a mirror of the X-Mags.
On a side note, it was awesome at the field this weekend having an SFL and an X-Mag on the same team for the walkons. :p

That has happened to mine many times. Not sure what does it. It is a known bug though.

My emag resets itself when the batterys go dead, otherwise no other resets, It seems like the have a problem with the software ver. and they do that from time to time.

Yep, if you let the battery go dead on the marker (leave it on until it runs completely out of juice) it will reset the shot counter. It happened to mine a few times when I lived in Europe, I've been very careful about battery storage ever since then.

Hehe cool, but the thing is that my battery has a good charge on it. All I have to do is flip the power switch. =)

Hmm... no CMOS type battery to keep these things tickin'?

There is something that keeps the settings and totals without the battery being connected, it seems to have to do with low voltage that causes the reset to occur.

Mine has done it many times also. I just sent it back in for a RMA and they determined that the battery had an issue. Maybe it's related.
