heres the deal. i got shipped the rtp and when i got it i was told after i signed for it that customs opened it. inside layed a rtp body with the power tube sittin beside it. heres a pic. should i weld it solder it what. the welds didnt take when it was originaly done so its a factory screw up. ne suggestions??? thanx

That gun doesn't look new... But I'm sure it would be cheaper to get it welded where you live, if it has to go through custons I'm guessing your in another country which would be expensive shipping... I guess it's your preference if infact that gun is new.

no i bought the used. would it be best to weld it or solder it or wha?

Welding I suppose. Soder would be too weak.

Last I checked, the power feeds are silver-soldered in place, not welded. in general, this is plenty strong. Unfortunately, in your case, it was not. As for reataching it, I would check with a local fabricator's shop to see about haveing re soldered.

I'd send it to Airgun Designs and have them work on it. If I remember correctly, all power-feeds are welded *AT* airgun, because it is such a precision operation. Can't mess it up, or you'll have feeding issues.

Give AGD a call. Not sure if something like that is covered under warranty, or the star-program.

well agd from all of my under standing silver solders there feed tubes and necks and no thats not welding its brazing to related but totaly diffrent things
